JYSK is establishing a new automated DC in the Netherlands, Lellystad, to service stores and ecommerce customers primarily in the Netherlands, Belgium, UK and Ireland. This DC is integrated in the European logistical structure as DC number 10. Distribution Center Lelystad.
The new distribution centre in Lelystad will include:
- 2 high bays with 166,000 pallet locations, operated by 21 cranes
- Modules for ergonomic and efficient picking and packing of online orders
- Robot layer picking and automated downstream tray loading system
- Automated robot tray unloading solution
- Consolidation sorter for order shipment
- 120,000 square metres of buildings
